I visit First Home Consulting in order to save our home. I had agreed to a late appointment because of my wife flexible schedule. I arrived before my wife and set in First Home Consulting’s lobby. A lady greeted me and told me her name was Becky and she would start analyzing my finances to assist me in stopping our foreclosure. I explained to her that I was waiting for my wife and to give me a minute to call her on her cell phone.
When I contacted my wife, she told me that she was on the freeway and it would be about 15 minutes. 15 minutes passed and I called her back. She said to give her an hour because of an accident. I told her to forget it and I would try to give First Home Consulting as much information as I could to stop the foreclosure.
Miss Becky started the process and concluded by saying that the information that I was given her does not mach for my home to be 9 months delinquent. I told Miss Becky that I was only one month behind, maybe two at the most and I laugh in her face.
On my way home I called my wife and explained what was all said in the meeting. Surprisingly, she confirmed what Becky said and explained that she was avoiding paying the mortgage’s payments because she was leaving me do to may weight.
First Home Consulting was able to stop my foreclosure and suspend the mortgage payments until my finances would allow me to support the mortgage payments.
PS: Becky, thank you for your kind words in working with me, and more than just stopping my foreclosure I am still listening to the Martin Luther King speech:
“I am somebody, I am God’s child…”
