Article by Harry Davis in August 18, 2008 Hello! My name is Harry Davis, I would like to begin by saying that I appreciate your attention in reading this article, and I hope that those of you who need clarity in finding the right solution in saving your home or trying to come to a resolution in assisting the mortgage company by denying the abuse that lead to foreclosure and maybe eviction of a family. Hopefully this article can bring reality to ones ability to realize that no homeowner that participates in saving their home by trying to work with the mortgage company should loose their home to foreclosure. I was raised in the country, where the blacks lived always on the east of the railroad tracks and we were not allowed to be in the white part of town. Unless you were escorted by your mother or your father to go and help the white people on their farms. There was one thing about it everyone knew their place , now I’m not talking about the 50’s or 60’s, I’m talking about within the last forty years and even today there are parts of Tupelo you must know your place. In 2003, I was given the opportunity to work for Mr. T.J. Freeman which no one in Tupelo ever knew how Mr. Freeman made his living. All we ever knew is that he drove a brand new pickup truck which every year he bought a new one, and had one of the most beautiful homes that I have ever seen. Of course Freeman was one that every time you saw him he was chewing gum and smiling. I always said that he was showing off because he wanted someone to recognize his gold tooth. I recall running into Mr. Freeman at the Piggly Wiggly Market where I finally approached him to ask how I could make some money. Freeman quickly told me that it isn’t in drugs brother that it’s in Real Estate, he went on to explain how it works but there was one statement that I caught and it stuck in my head: He said that no one gives a damn about a homeowner that is in Foreclosure, and someone’s name and social security number on the buying end of it all is where he makes his money. I did not believe my ears of what Freeman was saying. Basically I heard a man say that a homeowner has no right to control one of the biggest investments that the average American makes in life, by trying to have and hold an American dream. In what part could I play in ensuring that this dream is kept?
The American Real Estate Market has screwed over the American People while those who are in Iraq fighting for this country, mortgage servicers are fighting their families and giving the correct relief to save their home, while U.S. District Judges and local District Judges are trying to make a decision on the bench. They have little or no knowledge at all of Loss Mitigation Protocols and frankly they really don’t have an idea of how it all comes together. You must understand that there is no money in saving someone’s home, the effort in retaining profit and big profits is to take someone’s home and the mortgage company attorneys are there to present evidence that the homeowner did not pay six or seven thousand dollars and this is why their house should be taken. But never mention anything about how much money the homeowner has paid and when the homeowner will be able to recover from its hardship. Did Congress really set forth protocols because they believed that within thirty years of a homeowner purchasing their first home that there would be some hardships within thirty years. These protocols that have been placed into Loss Mitigation are the safe guard that homeowners could keep their home. Believe it or not some of the most intelligent people with Law Degrees would find my statement ridiculous. Maybe this is why the Associated Press claims that a video that I did in 2006 where I predict the foreclosure crisis and it was shown a homeowner being thrown out of his home and was able to move back in his home through my help and attorneys, the homeowner is still in his home today. However, the Associated Press claims that this story that was taped and recorded in my office is no where to be found. Well, I guess that this is another stay on your side of the tracks. Now I’m supposed to believe that this video can’t be recovered. But you can find a video from over sixty years ago. But I’m not going to make an issue regarding the AP Network, I just appreciate Rick Matthews for coming out to our office and enabling homeowners to go on the World Wide Web and see the video for more than one year. At least the Associated Press did something to help the American People understand the cruelness of the Real Estate Market. I remember telling an old white guy what had happened with the AP and he simply told me I wonder how much money they got paid. You can call me what you want, but I know for a fact that this emergency reform act is a cover up to not prosecute the big wheels that disrespected the U.S. Government and the US Dollar for its efforts in keeping the American Dream, but kept Freeman and the mortgage company attorneys, agents and servants rich, by throwing homeowners out of their home like garbage when they knew that a homeowner was trying to work with the mortgage servicer. Even though I am able to be successful in retaining the proper assistance that a homeowner needs I sometimes have to fight two battles by keeping the homeowner in realization that the protocol exists and I will prevail in my efforts of following the blue print of what Congress intended and yet I have to educate a snotty nose kid or a silly and ignorant attorney to refrain from foreclosing or evicting an entire family. I don’t want to hear about Hitler’s Holocaust and killing millions of Jews when our own mortgage entities are killing American Dreams, thousands a day are evicted or foreclosed on; and it simply because our government will not do anything about it. It’s too late for the reform without going back and settling up with the homeowners that have been abused by this subprime and the abuse of the U.S. Government Protocols. I mean it will not stop people are still spending millions for television ads showing people how to screw the government and the homeowners out of its rights to retain homeownership. Why? It’s because there are no money in it. Mr. Freeman promised me that he would financially support our organization, HUD claimed to have funding for FHA and Housing Counselors which I haven’t had time to apply and the local investors that I have enquired about funding but at the end of the day if they can’t make any money in it then there is no reason to support the cause. I would challenge anyone to float our agency a check for our efforts and to keep us in business to help everyone keep their home. And I have faith in someone contacting my office or an anonymous check to come in the mail to save homes and fight for the rights of all American People. But I will not hold my breath; I just wish that help comes along. And if Freeman is reading this article the message that I gave your sister to give to you everything she said is true. Being that you called me a fool for saving homes and not profiting off the backs of the homeowners. And to the Mortgage Company and their Attorneys, you think that the government is a fool and they have not been able to put together the abuse of Loss Mitigation for is it that you are able to run down to the District Courts and Justice of the Peace and throw your paperwork around to lie and say that you have personal knowledge that the homeowner should be evicted and the judge sides with your ass because he or she doesn’t know any better, will soon turn around and right will prevail. So for now, everyone that is feeling pressured through their adversities in dealing with the mortgage servicer… I’m here for you. I will do everything in my God given hill billy power to assist you. |
